Please remember the CA's are volunteers. They are players like the rest of us. They have to work within the confines of the game and within the business model of the game.

With reference to the contests/events. They run 'regular' events now and events require a lot of their time and effort. There's nothing automatic or built in, for the events they've designed and run. Scores and/or winners aren't captured by the game ... the CA's have to manually capture the screens and then manually enter the results. Give them some levity. They are trying to make this reality more inclusive and interactive.

wow, this is a great suggestsion Kooky. I like it. I hope the devs can figure out how to code that for those working on Team Challenge for battles/wars. Thank you for that suggestion.

    This is a great idea.

I don't participate in solitaire tournys, because I don't want to break what's I've setup. If I played with it setup, even I would consider it cheating. I wouldn't expect others to play this way either.
    It's not fair to others.

I would like to participate i solitaire tournys. Having the choice to save my prepared hand, and start with a new hand, would be a nice option. I don't believe players should be allowed to participate in official sprints/tournys if they already have a game started.

As an aside ... I would be happy to break my set, if it didn't take more than a couple of hours to set it up again. As it stand now, it often takes 2 days to set it up.

This is a great idea. I have a need for this.

Alternatively, maybe you have a way to save a floor plan layout or save as a template, to be reassembled/reproduced elsewhere.

Another add-on would be (in agreement with others) to allow this feature to be turned on/off.

I think this is a great idea.

However, to avoid disasters, it would be nice if this option was disabled on double day. I would hate to see a player, who's hosting a bomb party for double day, open the floor and discover that one person was able to pick everything up.

I really like this idea. There are many that would be thrilled to have this option.

As you say, would need a proviso, so that a floor - opened for double day pickup - would have this option turned off.

Another proviso I'd like, is to allow xp and spinners to be left behind (many of us keep xp for double xp moments and spinners for battles/wars).

Great idea. The last candy collection was changed from 25 to 50 ... but the change wasn't made until the last day. There's no way to alert the community. Global chat isn't the answer, cuz posts scroll up and disappear.

Create a bot that sends up such a message (give ca's that power), or like another said, post through the in-game phone tool ... important messages.

    Good suggestion

    My 2¢ worth.

I was never a fan, where the crew that earned the most xp, won a battle or war. That was all about the deepest pockets. That got changed. (thank you)

I wasn't a fan, where the crew's average score, determined the winner. All you needed was a 1 or 2 member crew, with tremendous luck and they were the winner. That was changed. (thank you)

The two-team model for war failed, with the introduction of extra large crews. That was changed. (thank you)

    On War:
I see war as an attempt to involve as many players as possible. If averaging the scores was the answer, I would worry that crews might limit their entries to include only those with high-scoring potential, to achieve the highest average.

War is a main event and should spark interest (or joy, if you're a Konmari fan).

So, I have a crazy idea for war:
What about excluding war from being a crew-ranking event, making it an event for individuals. And, make it all inclusive.

Make it more fun for everyone: winners can earn prizes (maybe for each game/category). Players 'not in a crew' could participate, because it's not crew dependent. Players - in a crew that doesn't battle - might be interested in competing on their own. [xp would still be earned by individuals, and applied to crew at regular game play rate (if in a crew)].
Maybe war could have a different combination of games on the scorecard, with individual challenges (replaces team challenges). For me, it's become boring to have battles and wars that are identical.

The inequities of xp earned, due to uneven crew numbers would no longer be contentious.

Connsider that the current war configuration is almost individual-based.

On a positive note - related to double day:
I have no issue with double day. (ok, lag sucks). On double day many players surface as generous. Numerous bombs are dropped. My take is "everyone gains"; whether in the form of xp or treasures. There is a 'deep pockets' component, but I'm ok with it. It took a long time, before I could give back to the community, and it's fun being able to do so. As an aside, I feel compelled to mention the addition of the schedule (thank you LDub). It gave order to the chaos. Prior to the schedule option, many players announced their bomb floors (or outdoor drops), at the same time and the confusion grew.

    Soooo ... that's my 2¢ worth ... or maybe more like 5¢.

I love this idea. To be able to save them for battles/wars would be great.

And like someone mentioned, would keep other players from 'snaking' what you'd been waiting so long to pick up (on double days). I'd like this for my bomb trade floors, as well, cuz I'm always tripping them and the floor becomes more laggy, as they accumulate. Freeing up the spinners, would allow us get at the xp when we earn minutes of dbl xp or an hour (from piggy), cuz xp also accumulates under the spinners and makes the floor laggy.

So ... players might be more willing to grab them, if they can be saved for later.

    Great idea.

I'd prefer they program the daily spinners to complete faster. They run for 20 seconds from where I sit. That would look after the time spent between and during. And while at it, after tripping a spinner, allow pickup to continue, without having to move away and back, to continue pickup ... eh, eh!

Staring at a casino floor, for so long, picking up bomb items is totally mind-numbing and ties up far too much time. Spinners tie up even more time.

    My 2 cents worth.

James' attempt at helping, was to add a fee, applied to all sales of cp, a "success fee" to be paid by all players (including citizens). Everyone was penalized for the cp market problem. I believe this had a negative impact ... causing prices to go even higher, as players tried to cover the fees. I wish that fee would be removed.

I totally agree. There's no way to do a mission and try to get an achievement, if the mission animation plays (completion or fail). It plays far too long ... nasty.

Thanks for the response, Benji. (I wasn't able to reply to your email)

I’m using a large screen --- allows me read all forms of chat and see the game (esp casino floors) … not so that I can open another instance of the browser. Buy using your suggestion, I’m back to a smaller view of the game. BTW, chrome doesn’t allow me to make the browser as narrow as the pm chat display, compared to what I see in the image you provided. And even if it did, it’s still not a suitable alternative for my circumstances.

I appreciate hearing about the work around. It might work for players.

I also lose items in the editor (haven't reported). It makes me wonder if I imagined it, when it happens, so I refresh and sure nuff, the item(s) return.

Would be nice to see this get fixed.

Does this happen in any casino or just your own? Also, when you say the mouse is stuck do you mean the actual mouse won’t move on the screen or that anywhere you click on the screen takes you back to the elevator?

An error occurred while saving the comment
    Cowtoon commented  ·

This is still occurring, but is less frequent. It happens in my casinos. I exit elevator, and my mouse won't let go of wherever it's anchored. Consider it as trying to get rid of the chip that's attached to your mouse when playing roulette. You see how it stays with the mouse, wherever you move the mouse. well, for me the entire casino floor moves and I can't make it stop when it happens. I have to refresh to be able to click to something, cuz it's behaving like it's anchored to some hot spot (or the like) on the casino floor.

But only if the bar they were at doesn't have a coffee bar. I started yesterday and drank madly -- > to level, but got cut off. It then took me forever to find a coffee bar. Casinos with both drinks and coffee service allows a player to gain (what helps them level) by drinking and sobering up. Perhaps consider making it impossible for them to play until they've sobered up (a short time period or ... they need to find a coffee machine).
