Wars & Battles
In the past, I have made big stinks of the unfair Wars and Battles. First it was the bars, whoever had the chips could sit at the bar and win. Then it was the bombs. Some changes were made here and there but... War and Battle wins can still be purchased. I kept quiet because it felt like I was fighting a losing battle, much like the last War.
Also, crews are still distributed unevenly. These last 2 Wars have been a joke. With so many new members and so many new crews, the issue needs to be addressed again.
After talking with quite a few others, here are some views and suggestions:
The top 2 crews are only allowed to pick and vote on 4 crews... That should be increased to something like 7-10 crew picks. There are a LOT of crews right now.
Like bars, i think bombs shouldn't count at all. Wars and Battles should be won by earning it. However, I know that isn't going to happen. So how about making them less impacting? And not by disallowing points from the dropper (something that was changed a while back as a possible solution). Whoever has the most cps shouldn't be the one who wins. Very unfair in a casino-building game where everything costs cps. Right now, someone can stay on for hours and hours doing missions, playing slots, earning points all the ways they can, non-stop... Then someone else can log in for an hour, drop/collect a few bombs, and not just catch up but leap way over the people who have been trying hard for their points. Very frustrating for a lot of people who don't have the cps, or who enjoy earning their points the way Battles and Wars were intended. Not to mention the unfair advantage that gives a crew with 60+ members, when most the other crews have 10-20 members. I don't see what was wrong with the 50 member cap.
This war, Blue had over 20 crews who scored 0. Black had 5. There was an idea of maybe having 2 different types of crews.. Battle crews with a member activity limit, and Social crews with no activity limits.
Xp battles made the most sense. The new scoring is confusing to a lot of people who still believe that if you make decent xps in a game, that counts for decent battle points as well. Now, slots are where the points are as far as the games go. It's supposed to be an "all-around" point system, yet we still don't go very far if we want to play Roulette or Solitaire or Poker. Slots, Missions, Bombs... That's all we can do. With more bombs between.
We want to have fun in our wars and battles again. I hear more talk of boycotting them rather than strategies. Please make some changes to bring the fun back into the competition.

I feel no matter what the battle/war type will be people will find a way to manipulate the results. Bombs should not be a part of it as for it should be more based on luck and skill. But maybe if bombs need to be a part of the battle/war maybe you could limit the bombs to 1 an hour per side.

I would also like to point out that which ever side picks the massive crew with 69 members and counting will win everytime. With odds like that i see no point in wasting time and cp's in a war that is so lopsided. When a crew is that large it takes 4-5 normal crews to become equal in member numbers. Without a cap on crew members, the only solution would be for all crews to merge until you have 4-5 very massive crews to compete against each other. I would choose to not be a crew member if this happens, as i prefer a smaller more personable atmosphere. I have nothing against the members in the massive crew, but i agree with Sypress about limits on crew size when it comes to war, not so much in battle, as i think there will not be to many challengers to a crew that size when there is no possibility of winning a battle. And I think with the current rules in place they will be to big to challenge more than 1 or 2 other crews.

I agree! Bombs are out of hand in battles and wars. However, as many times as I have suggested that, they generate way too much income and too many people love them, they won't take them out for battles and wars. >.< That's why I'm suggesting a compromise instead. Give them LESS impact on the scores, make it fair... give the other games MORE impact. I hope they listen!

NO bombs during wars or battles period makes alot of sence to me missions slot sprints or just plain spinning slots should all that be allowed in either

instead of all round wars it should be just poker or slots or roulette , i think it should be mixed up instead of the same old thing

yeah sure wasn't much incentive to work hard when it was hopeless within the first couple hours
