note section in crew chat/tab
a section for crew leaders to leave permanent (with a delete option) notes to the crew. So you don't have to keep saying the same thing to new members, members that aren't online ect.

a banner area above crew chat where crew officers can post messages that can contain links to forum posts or external documents if required

Should be a place to insert rules too (if your crew has any).

Yes great idea. It would be great if the Crew Leader has some place to leave messages. Some kind of Message Of The Day (MOTD)
