Sorry, as ChelseaDT said, some rules are necessary foster a positive playing environment and community.
Someday we’ll create AnarchyRPG with no rules, and we’ll certainly send you an invite. :)

Freedom of Speech is allowed yes , however anything that violates the Rules or Terms or Conditions is not. The Rules on bad language are there to protect the community as whole and to ensure all players are free from being insulted or upset by other users chat.
Most games have the same sort of rule set this is not unique to Goldfire in anyway so i must disagree with your suggestion , Sorry
