End the double standards
So, I honestly just got a chat ban for being a smart ass, but you don't do anything to a player who threatens to find and shoot another player? You've gotta be kidding me, right? The only difference I can find is I don't have citizen status. Is that how it is, here? If you pay to play you can do whatever you want, but if you don't you must live in fear of the watchful eye of the all-powerful moderator?

The moderator who banned you did take action against the other user as well , however even after being warned by the moderator you continued to be abusive. Being a citizen or not has no impact on how a moderator/CA makes a judgement on when to warn or ban a player at anytime.
Moderators are not "all powerful" they are simply players who give there time to enforce the rules of the game. If you have a complaint about another players chat then you simply ignore them and eventually a moderator will catch up to them or if you ask for a CA/Mod in global chat one of the team can come and assist you on the poker table (if that is where you are) However being abusive to a moderator is never helpful and will end up in making yourself more likely to be banned.
