Not a bug in the true sense but I tried to pass the pigeon as the quest was ending
the distance was too far and quest failed just before the pigeon had a new roosting post, the issue was the pigeon stayed that distance away from me until it cleared, some 5 plaza paving slabs away from me, no matter where I moved.

I also have screen shots of the pigeon watching while I play slots, poker and taking a tumble off the edge of the world! It's a shame I can't add more pics to this post, however it does seem I'm the only one who can see this pigeon :D . In fact it stayed with me regardless of what I did until I did a refresh.
