Hello, so I have an idea obviously, and this is it. I propose that we elect a sheriff. The sheriff would hold an office for an arbitrary amount of time, also to be selected by all, i would say 90 days perhaps. The sheriff would be in charge of deliberating issues, or meanness, if you will, the coordinating resolution, by resolution and this is where it gets fun! two people would be able to meet at high noon if will, and have a showdown, one on one, choosing your weapon/game and hash out any differences they may have in a fun light hearted way. Others in the community would also be able to watch and participate, even placing wagers on whom, they think will win! I believe this will remove some passive aggressive nature and bring us closer in the spirit of fun and game. While also letting people work out their impasses or frustrations in a healthy manner. Thus also drawing attention to mental health in a sense that we are facing our frustrations in a fun off the cuff manner instead of the usual chatting behind backs or just plain hating each other. Not that I hate anyone, in fact It is the contrary for me, but i see a lot of bully type behavior and down right bully tactics, and I would like to create an outlet that anyone and everyone can utilize to feel as though their voice is heard...and they can get some type of satisfaction, in a fun way of course! Let us break bread and uncork the bottle, make this community a better place!! Lets face it, a lot of us spend a lot of time on here, I know I do, there is CA, but that is more of a tattle thing or a pushed over the edge tool. WIth this we can take it into our hands, openly communicate about it and with it, which in turn will create camaraderie, a sense of safety and give some control and power to each player. Obviously this is a rough draft of an idea that will probably go nowhere, but genuine concern and care must begin with a genuine effort. How somethings begins is how it will act and behave!
