1. Tables losing upgrades

   I upgrade neon poker tables and when the upgrade is finished it has went back to the level it was before i spent the cps yet i loes the cps I invested. Needless to say nothing is being done about this issue or any of the other issues we have going on here

   We’ve added some new debugging, so please let us know if you see this again and around what time the upgrade was so we can match it up with the logs and hopefully figure out what is going on.

2. Poker tables by level of player

   My suggestion is to have it set so players between ranges of level be allowed on tables, such as 0-10, 11-20, 21 -30 etc.

4. different colours of stuff and mods

   Able to rotate the solitaire tables so cards are facing 90 degrees different and also the ability to change colours of gaming tables tops eg black jack green table to a different colour or poker table different to red.. and ablility to change colours after you fully purchased it for like $10 as a exsample or cp points

5. Stopping degenerative play

   Exocraft has degraded to just targeting the mine, regardless of the guardians.

   This has led to issues where some people are trying to play the game as it was intended (destroy guardians, then mine), while others swoop in from off screen and kill the mine only, with no regard to the other player(s).

   My suggestion is to make the mine untargetable until at least one guardian has been destroyed.

   The payoff should scale with the risk involved.

   For example:

   If you make a cluster (group of guardian[s] with the mine) worth 20-500 crystals times the number of guardians, eg. a cluster of 2 guardians with the mine would be worth 40-1000 crystals. The guardians would have a different amount of hit points (depending on their size) and the mine would be a flat amount of hit points. The payout would split depending on the amount of damage done by each person. To further illustrate this idea, A 2 guardian cluster has a 50 point mine, a 150 point small fireball and a 300 point large crab.

   Player 1 takes out the crab and Player 2 takes out both the fireball and the mine.

   If the cluster was worth 500 crystals, Player 1 would get 300 crystals and Player 2 would get 200 crystals. If Player 2 instead just took out the mine, Player 1 would get 429 crystals (300/350*500) while Player 2 would get just 71 crystals.

   how about a goldfire jail, since we have a sheriff. and all the banned ppl get to go to jail . make a bail or certaiin things that need accomplished before able to get out if bail isnt paid.

   Also to eliminate users with 50 accounts (and yes there is one) maybe more ppl, but i surely am positive on this one! why dont you do a verification like hotmail, the banks, and other main places online do and have a texted code to them. how many ppl are going to invest in a new cell plan for every acct.? and normally free internet numbers do not work. I couldnt use my paypal with an internet number.

   also.... would be great..... as stated in the past to be able to utilize the ignore feature as in what it actually means. "ignore" meaning when i have someone on ignore. i do not want to see my notifications showing them in my casinos. I would like them to stay out. ignore means ignore. i do not want reminded that they are around.

8. Player Issue List

   Player Issues
   • Invisible enemies
   • Not enough crystals from small mines/salvage ships (Usually go negative with drone repairs)
   • There should be a significantly higher chance to get an exopart from salvage ships – Would make people actually use them
   • The overall crystal economy of the game needs to be increased – all across the board increase in crystals drops, from small to high. The percentage of times you hit big should go up.
   • The big clusters of guardians are too difficult to kill, everyone will avoid them. If this is where all the big loot drops are hiding, then no one will get them.
   • Drones should be able to be repaired for free in the drone shop – this would solve a ton of problems and tbh there’s no reason why this shouldn’t be added
   • Shouldn’t have to pay for new paint, or if you do it should be at a lower cost than it is now.
   • When trying to paint your ship it doesn’t tell you how much it costs when you buy, whether you have enough or not.
   • When first starting it is very confusing which drones do what, and which guardians do what. The drone types should be labeled in the shop or at least for new players.
   • There should be a tutorial fight where you don’t lose any health, and the battle is paused where it labels which guardian is which element, and the proper drone to use. (For this you can be in a big ship against a big mine and get at least a mega at the end to start you off)
   • The warp-drive cooldown should be reduced in time from 10min to at least 5min (You get damage when trying to fly all the way back to the Main Hub and back + annoying)
   • The warp-drive doesn’t always work properly, glitches out and leaves you in the same spot
   • The biggest issue right now is the major increase in crystals dropped and free drone repairs in the shop
   • This can be added onto in the future

10. Guardian Aggression

    For the Guardians: I suggest making them passive if drones are attacking some other mine; sometimes two mines close together will have guardians attack even though they aren't guarding the mine being attacked

    We don’t currently have sorting, but there is a search feature. If you open the messages panel and click on the friends button, there is a search bar along the bottom.

13. Re-Balancing

    Hi.

    It's me again.

    I really like the most recent update as Introducing a new currency and increasing the crystal drop rate.
    But it's more out of balance than before..
    Well, even if its more frustrating than before I created a huge excel-table AGAIN so I can tell you some real world ingame numbers:
    Gems/Mine is at 0.238
    Crystals/Mine is way above 2k
    While a mine takes about 1,76s to kill, it will take ~2100 Mines to upgrade my cargo bay (from lv 6-7; that shouldnt be a high-end level, even level 10 players should have cargo bays at this level IMO).
    But it even gets worse when I put another factor into my calculation. Farming 2100 mines takes approx. 3697secs/1h JUST TAKING THOSE MINES DOWN for getting one single upgrade.
    Travelling time EXCLUDED.
    My suggestion is:
    Decrease new parts price (gems) by 50%
    Decrease upgrading parts price (gems) by 65% -> there is no reason to upgrade right now
    Decrease crystals drop by at least 30%
    Increase gems drop chance by 20%
    Increase gems drop amount by 80%

    I've seen some posts at the forums which complained about the cargo bay size. How about increasing storage room too?

    And I have to say that I was about to buy some IG items, not just for getting an advance about other players/boosting myself, more like to support you/the devs/the game. But at this point I'm not willed to pay anything, I'm sorry.

    We definitely have some features like this planned :) Our focus has mainly been on working out bugs and other tweaks to the gameplay, but once that is all smoothed out (and we are getting close) then we’ll switch focus back to adding new features such as this.

17. Exocraft - Team Races _Refreshing your system bounces you off of the waiting cue for team race

    Exocraft - Team Races - Is it posible that when you refresh (f5) you do not get bounced off the team races waiting list. With the lag and drones just flying around and around guardians - We need to F5 alot to clean up the visual representation that appears stuck. When you come back to game you sometimes forget that you were waiting for 1 0r 2 players to race. But now you are not even in the queue anymore. you have to rejoin

18. Mech's thoughts and impression (Exocraft)

    Exocraft seems, at first, quite promising, its elemental damage types, customizable craft and general smart appearance making for generally entertaining play. oh, being a low-level skrub is harrowing, sure, but past experace or a bit of common sense can carry you through a good 3-4 hours of fun, salvaging shipwrecks and avoiding blobs of murderous guardians, flitting between your beacon and the base as you progress.

    and then you hit lvl 10, and the game's facade of fun comes crashing down. rising maintenance costs for your drones and damaged or destroyed parts will drain away any surplus funding you may have built up, you'll find buying new parts requires HOURS upon HOURS looking for Gems, and just to add insult to injury the fast-travel mechanic that once let you explore the far regions will be locked behind a cooldown timer- one about the same length as the time it takes your hard-earned minerals to be available to any shlub who happens along, if you don't have enough cargo space- and you likely won't, because again, parts become too expensive to buy regularly.

    on top of that, all those larger parts you may have decided to save up for? don't bother, they offer no advantage over the small number of small parts.

    I managed to stick it out to lvl 13, but I simple have no more interest in playing- it's become a chore, logging in during odd hours to avoid massive, literally deadly lag spikes, orbiting near the base waiting for shipwrecks to respawn and hoping I make enough to fix my drones up afterward.

    If I was willing to sink actual money into it, I imagine I'd be sining a different tune, but as it stands the core game is too fundamentally broken to be worth spending even 3$ on, let alone the 20-30$ I'd need to actually fill my craft's part limit.

    things that need to change in order for the game to be non-shit:
    -Fast travel. either have free fast travel, or no fast travel. yanking away the ability to use it at level ten is just dumb and feels like one more way to say 'you've become invested now, so give us money to keep having fun', a Freemium tactic I happen to despise.

    -Gems. these either need to be more common, or worth more individually. currently it costs 150 of these suckers to buy one single part- an amount you'd be lucky to accrue in FOUR HOURS of dedicated farming, let alone the 40-60 minute sessions most people are willing to spend on a webgame.

    -maintenance costs: maintenance costs on drones are awful. to the point that fighting guardians for higher rewards is basically completely unprofitable unless you have 8+ of the things, which would require months and months of 6+ hour session every day, which 99% of people simply aren't going to commit to.

    -craft maintenance: this is EVEN WORSE than drones- repairing parts costs absurd amounts of scratch, and the only way to do so is to fork over. there's no way no to, either- Guardains have Magic Aim that can't be dodged, and you have to close to and STAY IN their weapons range while your drones attack them, and just eat the damage.

    the end result: exocraft give a strong start, but rather than keeping the momentum of player progress it trips over its own broken mechanics and faceplants right into unfun.

    HOW TO FIX THIS:
    Exocraft is quite promising, but the brokenness of several of its mechanics makes the bulk of the game- the part where you're neither an unstoppable max-level juggernaut or a newbie shlub- utterly intolerable.
    first, before implementing anything else, you need to address the economy. reading past post this seems to have been something you (the devs) have struggled with, largely because you're coming at it from the wrong direction, setting prices then trying to get the currency droprates to match them. this never works, and is universally awful regardless of what game uses this method. what you need to do instead is set the droprate, THEN, based on the ratio THERE, set the prices. this is the only method by which even partially functional simulated economies can be made using RNG.

    Next, you need to add ways for players to repair their things that do not represent a continuous drain on their pocketbook- a simple module that provides modest health regeneration would be quite sufficient.
    on that note, providing means to avoid taking damage in the first place is a neccessity as well- energy shield modules or defense drones- perhaps even elementally tuned shields, of which only one element at a time could be active, requireing either a quick hand on the switch or careful engagement would be best? alternately, simply allowing players to operate like a sensible Carrier and stand off well outside weapons range and send in the drones would be equally effective.

    if you want to restrict fast travel, do so by putting a cooldown or other cost on BEACONS, not the actual travel itself, to encourage adroit tactical use of the beacon and travel system. this will become especially important if any of the discussed plans for other locations become a reality.

    Further, making your mines and shipwrecks consistent is something you need to do to avoid frustrating your players and to prevent higher-level players simply hoovering up all accessible low-level sites due to having a much higher profit margin than actually attempting the farther zones.

    Shipwrecks should have very low crystal and gem rewards, but a fairly high chance of dropping basic exocraft parts- perfect for low-level players, or those who have just had large portions of their ship destroyed, but not as rewarding for higher-level players. lightly defended mines should have modest rewards, good for, say, those who have just gotten that third drone to take on any Guardian type, but again not as rewarding for higher-level players, and so on- this encourages higher-leveled players with larger ships to seek out more and more heavily defended mines to make the kinds of funds they need in reasonable timescales, creating not only a continued sense of challenge, but alleviating the issue of new players barely being able to make credits due to someone with 15-18+ drones swooping in and instantly mining out every site in their path.

    Lastly, adding player agency to the RNG system would also help alleviate some issues with it, for example adding scanner modules that increase the chances of finding specific items- such as this-or-that part, or Gems, or large amounts of Crystals- would be much appreciated.
